Transportation, Storage, and Disassembly Instructions

Transportation, Storage, and Disassembly Instructions

Purpose

The purpose of this specification is to ensure that the dismantling of greenhouse film material, once it has reached the end of its service life or requires replacement, is carried out safely, in an environmentally responsible manner, and without damaging the product.

General Conditions

The dismantling process should be performed under suitable weather conditions, preferably during calm and cool hours.

Appropriate protective equipment (gloves, masks, etc.) should be used to prevent contact with any chemical residues accumulated on the film.

During dismantling, it should be checked whether the product is suitable for reuse; reusable materials must be stored separately.

Preparations Before Dismantling

Heating, irrigation, and ventilation systems inside the greenhouse should be turned off, and factors that may create excessive temperature differences on the film should be eliminated.

The greenhouse frame and film connection points (clips, slats, wires, etc.) should be inspected, and fasteners should be removed in a controlled manner.

Previously repaired areas of the film should be carefully checked, with special attention given to torn or weakened sections.

Dismantling Process

The film should be loosened and removed without applying excessive tension.

Pulling, cutting, or sudden movements that may damage the film surface should be avoided.
If necessary, the work should be carried out with at least two people in coordination, and large surface films should be folded and lowered gradually.

During dismantling, the film should be collected in rollable form and temporarily labeled with a product tag.

Storage and Disposal After Dismantling

Films that will not be reused should be separated in accordance with the recycling system and must not be discarded into the environment.

Reusable films should be stored in a dry, clean, and shaded environment under conditions similar to their original packaging.

Removed products should be marked with a 1 m² film sample and archived together with date information (for warranty coverage tracking).

Safety and Environment

Chemical solvents or cleaning materials must not be used during dismantling.

Precautions should be taken to prevent any waste generated during dismantling from spreading into the environment.

For occupational safety, workers must use appropriate protective clothing and equipment.
