Our General Manager at Çağ Plastik and Vice President of PLASFED, Şener Gençer, met with plastics industry representatives from the Netherlands, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, and Norway to evaluate the new regulations awaiting the sector under the European Union’s 2030 and 2040 targets. The meeting addressed the plastic and packaging sector’s exports to the EU, recycling targets, and the impact of new legislative changes on the sector. Gençer emphasized the importance of strategic steps to maintain the competitiveness of Turkey’s plastics sector during this process.
